We stumbled upon a hidden gem with the Peaceful Log Cabin Next To Horse Field Villa! The cozy and comfortable log cabin was equipped with everything we needed, including WiFi. The location was perfect, with lovely views and the opportunity to feed the horses and explore the surrounding countryside. The staff were friendly and the little extras like dog treats and a welcome wine made us feel welcome. We can't wait to return for a leisure trip and bring our granddaughter along to see the animals on the sanctuary.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

I recently stayed at a lovely log cabin tucked away in a serene location. The cabin was cozy and offered stunning views of the surrounding area. One of the highlights of my stay was getting to make friends with the animals that were kept nearby, especially the horses that were right outside the cabin's window. It was such a delight for both me and my children. We also enjoyed going on one of the recommended walks and even spotted a deer along the way. The cabin had everything we needed, including comfortable furnishings, a well-equipped kitchen, and even board games and DVDs for entertainment. I had a peaceful and enjoyable week reconnecting with nature and spending quality time with my loved ones. I would definitely consider coming back in the future.
While my stay at the log cabin was wonderful overall, there were a few minor drawbacks. The cabin could have been cleaner, with some dog hair and grime found on the floor.

Lovely beds with homely touches, clean bedding and towels. Enjoyed feeding the horses in the morning and the spacious outdoor garden. Also loved the secure exercise area for our dog to run around in.
The WiFi was not great, but thankfully the 4G signal was fine. the cabin also got quite cold at night, but once we figured out the heating, it was cozy.

We had a wonderful time at the log cabin! the location was perfect for a romantic escape, nestled in the peaceful countryside. We loved being able to relax outside and enjoy the tranquility. the cabin itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking. the added bonus of being able to feed the animals was a delightful surprise. We enjoyed feeding the horses and ponies with the carrots and apples provided. It was such a unique and memorable experience!
Although overall our stay was great, we did encounter a few small issues. There were some cobwebs around the lights and in corners that could have been cleaned better.
